Plastic Additives

Plastic Additives are used to improve or modify properties of plastic to match requirements. Various types of Plastic Additives are provided in both powder and pellet form.

Antioxidants To protect an oxidation degradation of plastics from heat, shear stress and mechanical loading 0.02-1
UV Stabilizers To protect plastics from light and heat against loss of strength, stiffness or flexibility and discoloration 0.1-0.3
UV Absorbers To prevent UV absorption of plastics that cause loss of strength, stiffness or flexibility and discoloration 0.1-0.3
Anti-static Agents To reduce or eliminate buildup of static electricity at plastic surface and reduce dust deposit 0.2-0.5

Anti-microbial Agents

To protect plastics by acting against microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae that cause change in appearance, mechanical properties and create unpleasant odor. 0.1-1.0
Slip Agents To eliminate sticking of film layers by
reducing surface friction of film

Anti-Blocking Agents To eliminate sticking of film layers by increasing
roughness of film surface
 
Impact Modifiers To improve Impact strength and toughness of plastics especially at low temperature 5-25
Nucleating Agents To shorten cycle time, improve mechanical properties of plastic and increase solvent resistance properties 0.1-0.2
Clarifying Agents To increase the clarity and transparency of plastics products 0.1-0.2
Reinforcing Materials To significantly improve mechanical properties of plastic such as Tensile Strength, Flexural Modulus, etc. 5-50
Fillers To improve Flexural Modulus, Density and Hardness of plastic. By adding filler, it also help reduce shrinkage
and more cost effective.
